MY ATLANTIS, arqueology of a Utopia
This is not intended to be a discussion about the veracity of the Atlantis myth.
I do not come with a torrent of data that will convince you of the existence of a legendary land lost in the middle of the ocean. To be frank, the truth of it doesn’t interest me too much.
I am Atlantomaniac, Atlantopatah or Atlantophile.
I have been seduced, like so many other people of many generations by utopia, by the tragedy of destiny. Atlantis is a fantasy trigger, an excuse for the chimera. Few subjects are as thankless, known both by wise men and charlatans. We all imagine a different place. Archaeological remains have never been found, and this leaves us deeply free.
There are as many theories as there are thinkers, and the 3000 years since the legend began have only increased interest.
Before starting, I warn you that I will shield myself in science when it benefits me, as much as I will in the lie when, with it, I can improve the story.
Welcome to My Atlantis.

unknown artifacts (copper, 1200-400BC), totem ring (orichalcum and silver, 800-400 BC), fertility amulet (natural fabric, shell and copper, 1000-500 BC), pectoral antenna (natural fabric and copper, 1200-400 BC), large ceremonial necklace (orichalcum and copper, 1000-400 BC).

`My Atlantis´ was my final project of the upper cycle of artistic jewelery at La escola Industrial de Barcelona.
It is an archaeological-fantastic catalog, and it was exhibited as if they were pieces of stories recently found in the glacial archipelago of Svalbard. These artifacts would be the first real evidence of the existence of this legendary land.
The story was completed with the study of the terrain and geological materials, maps of the island, archaeological record and other technical information.
One of the key points of the story was the discovery of “orichalcum”, a mysterious magical material originating from the legend of Plato. I solved the riddle with bluish translucent resin that resembles the fossilized glacier ice. The metal work is mostly realized in copper with patina and silver.
